11th October

This morning began with Doug and Geoffrey addressing a chapel service at Luther College in Croydon. Later Geoffrey gave a talk to the Year 9 students.

Less than one hour after finishing the Luther talk, Geoffrey was telling the RYDA story to Year 10-12 students in the chapel at Carey Grammar in Kew. Chaplain Howard Wilkinson organised questions at the end of the talk.

Later in the evening, Geoffrey met with a young lady named Shen - a friend of Michael Ruthford's - who, as a result of their discussion, will now be working with RYDA in Uganda as a volunteer from February 2006.

12th October

Geoffrey met the MADFAers at Croydon Secondary College, who are a group of Year 9 and Year7 girls planning to run a breakfast program in partnership with St. Margaret's to raise money for RYDA.

Here he is with all the girls, their Principal, Michael McNamara, Doug (in the back row) their Chaplain, Catrina Salton and Jennie Gordon, Minister of St. Margaret's.
